We don’t train fashion gurus; instead, we train competent, knowledgeable, and SAQA-certified image advisers.

This is a cutting-edge program that goes well beyond standard image consultation. This course covers everything from beauty and wellness principles, skin and hair disorders and causes, skin types, hair care and styling, lash, and brow tinting, make up techniques, dress codes, colour analysis, body analysis, accessories, personal grooming, to the fine art of deportment, etiquette, verbal, and non-verbal communication. You’ll be fully prepared to help your clients overcome issues that limit their self-confidence by creating a blueprint for everyone that allows them to communicate the same message from their first impression face to face to digital communication and workplace representation, resulting in the ultimate “Presence.”

Assessment

An integrated assessment approach is followed. 

This implies that a variety of assessment methods are used, and unit standards are assessed in an integrative manner to avoid unnecessary duplication.

The assessment practices include the following:

Self-Assessment

• Continuous Evaluation of Learners Performance
• Formative Assessment 
• Summative Assessment 

The evidence will be compiled into a portfolio that will be used for summative assessment purposes.

A final summative assessment will be conducted by a qualified and registered assessor

• Assessments are conducted and all judgments are recorded on the reports which are in the learner’s workbook and workplace guide.
• Feedback is recorded and given to learners
• Learners indicate their agreement by signing the acceptance declaration
• Learners not meeting the requirements are coached and the process is recorded on the coaching report.
• If learners are required to submit additional evidence its recorded on the learning support plan
• Learner are allowed to submit activities 3 times for summative assessment
• Learners receive reports for every type of activity and an overall summative assessment report per skills programme
• Once the learner completed all the skills programmes all the completed workbooks are compiled in a Portfolio of evidence for Final Summative Assessment and Certification.
• A moderator validates assessment decisions and evaluate the overall performance of the assessors
• A verifier verifies all training and assessment practices and uphold decisions and approve certification of learners
• Learner results are upload and learners are issued with certificates.

Practical hours are conducted at a site of your choice or at one of RSE National host sites if applicable.

The 75 credits are made up of Entrepreneurship 41 Credits Personal Image, Aesthetics and Makeup SAQA 34 Credits
